What does Crack Smell Like? I am pretty sure my boyfriend has smoked it in our house. In my upstairs bathroom to be exact. When he does the whole upstairs has this discusting, toxic like smell.
Sorta like burning plastic with urine and a hit of. Not to mention that the whole upstairs smells like it and I feel sick to my stomach after going into the bathroom when it smells like that. I ask him and he says he doesnt smell it, that its nothing. Im smelling stuff. My concern is not only that hes doing it in my house but my son has asthma. He has weezed when he comes upstairs to that smell. Its only happend twice and the first time I didnt know what I was smelling.
(everything I knew about drugs was from watching TV) After he came home last time, I smelled it on his breath and off his skin. Told him to shower and then the upstairs smelled like it.
Im not crazy right. Is that what it smells like? Posted: 12:05 PM Received 1 Thanks for this Post. In Response to: What does Crack Smell Like? It is disgusting smelling, ransit smelling (don't know how to spell it). When you kiss them, your lips burn and it tastes like your lips are numb.
Almost like tin foil. I was in a house for many years with a crack addict and you end up thinking that you are high all the time. When I moved out I actually thought I was going through withdrawls.
How To Smoke Crack
It was horrible. Please remove your child. My husband blamed it on a friend and said they were smoking a cigarette everytime I came home. He always had the bathroom fan going. Then he decided he was going to be smarter then me and started to inject it. My husband died one month today. Hugs to you and remember to take care of yourself and your child.

Hi Chucky, yes crack has a very distinctive smell. It has a very toxic odour. Kind of like plastic that is burning.
If you are smelling that on his clothes and breath, then he is probably smoking it and smoking it in your home. Many addicts will go in the bathroom and smoke as that is considerd a private place. In fact, I knew a guy who would come home after work and shower and smoke it almost every night in the shower. Trust that gut feeling.
Good luck, Posted: 1:28 PM Received 2 Thanks for this Post. In Response to: What does Crack Smell Like? Well said Tangled. I will get better at saying things like that. Chucky, Tangled is so right, his friends and his love for his drug is way more important then you and your son. Tell him to leave and don't be like me and leave the home and then allow him and his habit take over. You are better than that and remember the serenity prayer.
You can't change anyone, just have the courage to change the things that you can. Love Brenda Posted: 3:16 PM Received 1 Thanks for this Post. In Response to: What does Crack Smell Like?
Thanks ladies. I know I need to get tough and send him to the curb. Just sucks that the right things are so hard to do! So its common for them to say 'come home from a party' and take a shower?
He does it all the time. I thought it was to get rid of the smell. He would wash his clothes too. But Hes smoking it in my bathroom.
Ways To Smoke Crack
I almost want to take the bathroom doors off! Not like he or my son use them, unless hes smoking in there or Im raving mad and want to have my annual scream at the shower head! Posted: 3:23 PM Received 1 Thanks for this Post. In Response to: What does Crack Smell Like? Sadly, I too have been dealing with this recently and I know how you can be torn, but you have to find a way to be okay with removing yourself and your child from that volatile situation. My ex-fiance just went to detox-rehab on 4/9 and I'm just now getting the chance to process how this has taken a toll on me.
We've been together for 6 years and he has lied and kept this secret from me the whole time. I never knew he had a history with drugs until he told me that he was being followed by spies who were using fancy devices to project random images in and around the house. He believed these people were implanting parasites in his skin, so he plucked bald spots in his head and sealed them with nail polish to prevent the implantation. Clearly delusional. It was after that that things started to make sense- the missing spoons, crappy mood swings, the all nighters, etc.
His whole family knew about his hostory with drugs and none of them thought it was any of my business. They were gonna let me marry him knowing full well I didn't know. I'm just venting. Posted: 12:34 PM Received 2 Thanks for this Post. In Response to: What does Crack Smell Like?
Does crack smell like a skunk? I have smelled it before when 'someone' came home from a friends house. Dmx the definition of x pick of the litter zip. I smelled it again and they said That is what 'so n so's' house smells like. They smoke crack, that is why I don't like going there. I said then why did you? They said, I had to cause the person I was with went there. It's a longer story, that I don't want to get into. But anyway, all I need to know is Can crack smell like real strong skunk?

It sounds like you are in the beginning stages of what i can only describe as a nightmare. Back in 2011 i started dating a guy i had went to school with but hadn't seen for years. Unknown to me he was a crackhead, a functioning one but only to the point that he would work to make money to smoke it. The first 3 months we lived together he would vanish and not come home until the middle of the night and i thought he was cheating on me, until one day he told me he was going to walk to the store and didn't come back for almost 2 days with a nonsense story about twisting his ankle and 'resting' in an abandoned house the entire time. While he was 'missing' i called his family and they told me the truth about him. LSS, I was dumb enough to end up trying it, and for the next 9 months we sold/pawned everything and at one point he went to jail for counterfeit money. Point is i have experience with it. So yes it has a very distinct chemical smell, along with the smells of burnt metal/glass.
You know how if you take a lighter to something like that it has a weird smell and leaves soot on it? Well that soot will leave black stuff on their lips and/or fingertips.
They will likely have a small thin object like a screwdriver, long nail, or even a stick if they get desperate enough that is referred to as a 'push'. Glass pens sold in cheap mini marts are preferred for smoking and steel wool aka 'chore', usually the copper kind torn into small bits will likely be with the push and whatever they are using to smoke out of. The fact that you said the smell makes you sick to your stomach is a sure sign of it being crack, because when you smoke it the first hit is usually enough to turn your stomach and even make you gag on it or dry heave. My advice to you, is to get you and your family as far away from him and any of his shady friends as well. In my experience if one of them is doing it, they all are. NOTHING is beneath them once they become addicted to it. Cheating, lying, stealing. Why did i quit?
Well in addition to lying to people i cared about my bf decided that giving drug dealers in the ghetto counterfeit money and coming back to the crack house was a good decision to get his fix and almost got us shot. If that's not what you want in your life i HIGHLY recommend running as fast and as far from this person as possible.
Please learn from my mistakes. That goes for anyone who reads this since i'm a bit late on this comment. Be safe people. Posted: 4:38 PM Received 0 Thanks for this Post.
In Response to: What does Crack Smell Like? I sincerely appreciate the honesty and advice given here from former addicts or users. My 7y daughter's father is a high functioning addict and will literally get high on anything and everything from Whip its if he's broke to cocaine if he's rolling in the dough. He's an aerospace engineer making at least $75k a year and complains to anyone who'll listen about the $8k he pays in child support per year. He won't buy his daughter anything new and only has hand me downs for her at his place, meanwhile brags about his brand new everything be it his wardrobe with matching shoes and belts or his furniture or electronics.
I left and took my daughter to a domestic violence shelter when she was 11mos and never went back. It has taken me 6y and multiple court hearings, 2attorneys, and a court appointed Brief Focused Assessor to finally get his visitations stopped till he complies with hair follicle drug testing every 3mos, completion of a drug and alcohol treatment, etc. To top this off.
After losing his license for 8-10y for his driving offenses while high or drunk, he got his license reinstated all of 10mos before he got ANOTHER DUI ( felony) for driving on the wrong way/one way under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.that court and charges are pending. I say sill this out of appreciation of those of you who chose to get cleaned up and advise others to get the hell out of these toxic almost always hopeless situations. My ex has no rock bottom.you'd think everyone would and should have a rock bottom but I've literally seen him lose everything in the 5y I dated him prior to our daughter being born and I was supposedly 'the love of his life, soul mate, yada yada.' I call BS on that. A true addict has one love and that is whatever their vice is and the chase to get it. My ex lost me, I called our dream wedding off 1week before because he was high, drunk, or both and assaulted me at 5mos pregnant and threw my wedding gown and bridal party gowns into the streets of downtown along with his wedding band. He has lost at least 5jobs including his dream job at Learjet.
And yes he now has another amazing engineering job but I'm sure he'll eventually lose it too. Most of his family have given up on him except his parents are his bigger enablers. I can't get them to see that I'm not taking their granddaughter from them.just him until he gets clean if that ever happens. I try to tell them, they can have a relationship with their granddaughter that doesn't include their dysfunctional son and his addictions but he somehow always manipulates them into thinking he is clean and really, truly is the victim, not able to see his daughter. It's sickening and sad.
My daughter deserves a dad in every sense of the role.provider, protector, and hero. Instead, for now all he is is a child support payment.and that'll last till he loses his next job. But anyways, thank you again to those of you who found something or someone more important than the high and thank you for your brutal honesty and advise to tell this OP woman to get her and her son out of the situation.
My daughter has been left alone in shady hotels, house parties, and vehicles by her dad while he was high or in pursuit of getting high.and it is ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD she hasn't had anything terrible happen to her one of those times. Georgie25 I got some crack i want to smoke soon but no access to the typical crackpipe. How else can I smoke this effectively? —— Prismed You can make pipe out of tinfoil and put some ash on the bottom and then put the rocks on top Or you can make a pipe out of an aluminum can and do the same thing Happy Smoking 🙂 lyrrad85z tin foil gets too hot, plus cans are more plentiful, use a can but dont make the holes too big. Prismed If you use a can make sure to put a carb on the side You’ll get some monster hits smoking it this way Georgie25 I dont understand, I wanna do the can method but where do I get ash from?
And do I just get a can and put a dent in it and poke holes n put the crack on the hole and light up? Some of the peices in this bag i have are pretty small might fall in? Any step by step instructions for making 1? 3DayRun don’t forget that you can use a lightbulb, too! Lyrrad85z dent the top. Scratch off the silk-screened label, about the size of a quarter in the dent. Poke tiny holes, about 8-10 where you scratched.
Poke a hole in the bottom of the can, or the side for a carb. Get the ash from a cig.
Let it burn and flick it right on your holes. Gently, GENTLY, pack the ash and place your butter on top. Hit that shit hard with the flame on the whole time and hold it till you cain’t no more. Georgie25 How do I use a lightbulb? Same way as vaping weed? Or do i not “vape it”?
Georgie25 I dont have any cigs or weed etc, do I NEED the ash? 3DayRun Yeah, you’re basically vaping it. Same way as tweak or weed. Ech0s85 people smoke weed from lightbulbs?
Ive hit crack out of a regular pipe before it had a tiny hole so it didnt run through right away but even after it did we just sucked the flame into the bowl and got bomb hits. Heighton720 cans are a good way.you can get HUGE hits this way BUT it also wastes some of the rock.but i likeusing cans when i have nothing else lol Nib I dont have any cigs or weed etc, do I NEED the ash? There’s a lot of other material that creates ash when burnt. Pegasus Yeah, you’ll need some ash if doing it this way As an aside, how does a light bulb work? I would think you’d need a lot bigger flame? Meth, I could see, cause it doesn’t need much flame. Crack, though?
Memphiseve You can use the handy dandy tire gauge. Just take off the end, everything will come out, pack with chore and bam http://www.scooterunderground.ca/products/accessories/images/tiregauge.jpg. OpiYum Or got to hardware store and get tubing cut to size and filters from under the sink. HerbalJah what about tin foil? Can’t you smoke crack off tin-foil like they do with Heroin?? Pegasus ^You need a good amount of heat for crack, I don’t think tin foil is a good choice BrokedownPalace If you are able to score crack, surely the person who sold it to you can tell of of a store that sells glass “rose” stems. They cost like 75 cents and come with chore boy.
In the hood they sell them at basically every convenience store/bodega. Just ask for a glass rose and chore boy. Chore boy is just brillo pad basically that you use as a screen in the tube. Also in a pinch I suppose you could use a weed pipe with a metal screen (or chore boy). With smoking crack you want to kinda melt the rock into the chore boy, and then hit that. Free base cocaine is kinda a runny liquid almost so melting it into the chore prevents it from just dripping down the pipe.
After you are done smoking, push the chore back and forth through the stem to collect the resin, and you’ll get a BOMB couple of hits of ‘push’. Now you’re making me want to go buy some rocks.
Asyd420 ^ thinkin the same thing. About getting some rocks.
On the night I almost died from smoking crack, there was no conscious understanding of what was happening in my mind or body. I was reduced to a state of depravity, like an animal whose only purpose was to never come down from the rush of this high. I had also smoked a lot of pot that day. Once you start smoking cocaine, however, you no longer feel the effects of pot, so it loses its importance quickly.
Not the case with cigarettes, though. Cocaine and cigarettes enjoy each other's company.
I had chain-smoked cigarettes for 10 hours that day - but not just any cigarettes. When I did coke, I smoked weird, strong cigarettes - Export A's (The Blue Ones), Camel Straights, occasionally Marlboro Reds and of course, Djarum Clove Cigarettes - anything that packed a punch.
If I didn't feel them when they went in, they were too weak. People who smoke crack together are stoic and precise in their communication. At first, as the initial preparation of coke is being cooked (we used to cook it ourselves into freebase), the participants (never more than three or four) may exchange mischievous smiles or amazingly cynical jokes. But inevitably, the verbal communication becomes less and less until finally the only things uttered are those needed to allow the 'partying' to continue. There really are no pleasantries because nothing about this whole thing is too pleasant. There is, of course, the walloping initial high produced by taking a big hit and everyone looks on as if they are watching you have an orgasm because in some sick, shadowy way, you are. Then everyone else wants to have the same experience over and over again, even though it lasts such a short amount of time.
It is horribly vacuous and in the end leaves you devoid of life force, crying like a man who realizes he has lost everything because for that night, at least, you have lost everything. Eventually, you will lose everything for good. Breath and (Near) Death In those days, I was only aware of my breath when I smoked drugs or exercised. Yes, I actually exercised. I loved sports and fancied myself an athlete. How could someone be caught up in a destructive behavior like smoking crack and still have another life that permitted athletics? Well, I grew up with sports and excelled at them.
In this particular phase of my life, though, sports would increasingly take a distant back seat to drugs. And of course, by the time one starts doing drugs like freebase or heroin, sports and all other efforts are done for. The fact is that one really can't be in those two worlds for very long. Toshiba e studio 255 driver free download. Kind of like you cannot have light and darkness co-exist in the same room. That particular night, I had smoked everything I could get my hands on - tons of cigarettes, marijuana and cocaine.
I was lying back on this cushion and started to feel like I COULD NO LONGER GET A FULL BREATH. Strangely, I was embarrassed and did not want anyone to notice that something was wrong. Possibly, I was dying.
But it was not yet bad enough that I would have to pull the ripcord. I played it off for a moment, closed my eyes and waited. The feeling worsened to the point where I could no longer get much of a breath at all. I stood up, walked out of the room and panicked a bit, gasping and thinking, 'OK this is it. It all ends tonight.
If I survive this and God, I beg of you, that I do, I will go to rehab and get it together.' I leaned over with my hands on my knees like a football player who had the wind knocked out of him and tried to breathe. Very slowly my body and its God-given impulse to survive sent out the right chemicals through my blood stream to dilate my bronchial tubes and save my life. The moment of panic passed. Soon that night of horror would end.
Most people probably have a hard time understanding why anyone would put himself through this time and time again. In the face of so much pain, demoralization and near death, why would anyone keep doing it? It seems counter to everything that we understand about human beings and our innate will to live. But addiction is exactly that.
If given an opportunity to become full-blown, addiction counters even our natural impulse to survive. I would not end up calling 911. Nor would I go to the hospital. I would not be arrested and go to jail.
I did not end up in the insane asylum. I did, however, wake up one day not too long after the night I almost lost my breath for good and realize that I had no next move. I had taken the horror further than I ever had before and spent three nights awake smoking cocaine. I had momentarily duped a drug dealer into fronting me an ounce and had every good intention of selling it to make a tidy profit.
Unfortunately, once we got into the coke there was scant chance any of it would be sold. It took a few guys and me three days to smoke our way through it. Finally, racked with pain from being dehydrated, malnourished, exhausted and hopped up out of my skull, I coerced a friend into giving me several sleeping pills, which finally knocked me out for 30 hours straight. How I survived that, I will never know. Waking Up I did not know where I was when I woke up. Looking around my room and house, I saw only squalor.
I was beyond terror. I had run out of drugs and alcohol. I had no girlfriend to take care of me. I had no money and no connections left. I owed a drug dealer a lot of money. There was no next move.
I was beaten. I picked up the phone and called up my father, a person I had relied upon for care and affection when I needed it most. I told him how bad things were, how I had no girlfriend or friends to speak of. How this had happened and that had happened. I told him everything I could - except for the truth. Then he simply stated, 'You're on drugs. I know you're on drugs!
I said, 'Yes, Dad, I am.' He said bluntly that I was going to have to go to rehab. I bluntly replied that I would not go.
